Meet Tina – Owner & Head Physiotherapist
Tina is the founder and head physiotherapist at Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic. She qualified from King’s College London in 2001 and has since gained extensive experience across the NHS, private practice, and international settings—including several ski seasons as Head Physiotherapist in Val d’Isère, France.
While highly skilled in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, Tina has a particular passion for Women’s Health and has completed postgraduate training in Pelvic Health Disorders.

When she’s not running the clinic, Tina enjoys Pilates, yoga, swimming, running, water sports, and skiing/snowboarding whenever she gets the chance!

Teresa Spurin (TJ)

Meet Teresa (TJ)!
TJ is a highly experienced and dynamic physiotherapist with a strong background in sports rehabilitation and biomechanics. She has worked with Olympic athletes and international rugby players, spending four years with a national rugby league club and two years as a military physiotherapist before moving into private practice, where she has been helping patients for over 15 years.
In addition to her expertise in sports injuries, TJ has recently specialised in treating headaches, facial pain, and TMJ disorders, using a combination of acupuncture and physiotherapy techniques to provide effective relief.

Ann-Marie (Annie) Ray

Meet Annie!
Annie qualified as a physiotherapist in 2010 after training at St. George’s, University of London. She has extensive experience in both the NHS and private sector, currently working as a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist.
Her expertise lies in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, particularly sports injuries and injury prevention. She is also highly skilled in treating patients with significant cardiac and respiratory conditions, as well as those recovering from surgery.
As a former international athlete, Annie has a deep understanding of sports performance and has transitioned into strength training and bodybuilding. She brings this knowledge into her physiotherapy practice to help patients build strength, recover effectively, and prevent future injuries.
Annie is one of our specialist Donjoy/DJO brace fitters, offering expert assessment and fittings for the best support. She also specialises in Vestibular Rehabilitation, helping patients manage dizziness disorders. Additionally, she is trained to perform steroid injections for peripheral joints, providing further treatment options for pain relief and inflammation management.

Anja Wachter

Meet Anja!
Anja qualified as a Physiotherapist in Germany in 1999 before moving to the UK in 2003. She further expanded her expertise by earning a degree in Manual Therapy in 2004.
Her career has taken her through rehabilitation and sports centres, private practices, NHS outpatient departments, and hospitals—both in the UK and abroad. She even dedicated a year volunteering as a Physiotherapist in South Africa.
With extensive experience in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal conditions, and sports injuries, Anja is passionate about helping her patients recover and thrive.
Outside of work, she enjoys arts, crafts, and pottery—embracing creativity as a way to unwind.

Jenna Lu

Meet Jenna!
Jenna is a physiotherapist, movement specialist, and lifelong athlete, with a passion for helping people train, perform, and stay injury free. With a background in Kinesiology and an MSc in Physiotherapy, Jenna has worked with a wide range of athletes including runners, climbers, triathletes, and Taekwon Do competitors.
Jenna has a particular interest in treating climbers and martial artists, bringing a unique blend of performance knowledge, movement expertise, and rehabilitation skills to the clinic. Her approach is not just about getting you out of pain, it is about building strength, resilience, and long term capacity so you can keep training and performing without recurring setbacks.

Emma Grant
Receptionist / Administrator
Meet Emma!
Emma is based in the Kemptown clinic on Thursdays & Fridays as a Clinical Administrator and Receptionist.
She has dual British and Australian citizenship. Working in both countries as a medical secretary and hairdresser for Toni and Guy. She also holds an Australian Certificate IV in yoga teacher training.
Emma is a keen yoga and pilates practitioner and generally enjoys keeping fit.
Also an animal lover who pet sits in my spare time. Along with being a total foodie who loves to cook.
Chloe Thornton
Receptionist / Administrator
Meet Chloe!
Chloe is based at the Kemptown Clinic on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, bringing with her a wealth of experience in healthcare and administration. With a background as a receptionist, office administrator, and healthcare practitioner, she ensures the clinic runs smoothly while creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Originally from Australia, Chloe holds dual Australian-British citizenship and made the move to Brighton in early 2022 with her partner. Outside the clinic, she draws on her expertise as a trained midwife, teaching Hypnobirthing Classes and offering Birth & Mindset Mentoring to support both parents-to-be and fellow midwives.
In her free time, Chloe loves capturing Brighton’s beauty through photography, taking cold ocean dips, enjoying beach BBQs, hiking, and traveling. Her calm and friendly demeanour ensures everyone feels at ease from the moment they walk through the door.
